Organization settings: GDPR data retention settings

How to change the time data retention settings for your HiPeople account.

  1. Click your name in the bottom left corner of your HiPeople page and select the Settings button:

2. Click on the Privacy section and here you'll be able to change the time intervals for how often personal data collected from candidates and references should deleted.


You can set a specific time window for:

  • after which all data collected from candidates and references will be deleted ('Automatically delete personal data after')

  • after which time soft-deleted data (i.e. candidates or references you have deleted in HiPeople) should be ultimately deleted ('Automatically delete soft-deleted personal data after')
    ​

3. Once you select the timeframe, the new setting will automatically be saved.
