Fraud Signals for AI Application Screening

Fraud Signals in the HiPeople Application Screening help you identify potentially fraudulent or misleading applications so you can focus on the most relevant candidates.

Fraud Signals for AI Application Screening are currently available in beta. After the public beta ends, they may require credits to use. Details will be communicated within the product, and you will need to opt in to continue using the feature.

  • Phone Number Reputation
Verifies whether the phone number listed on the resume is valid and trustworthy

Upcoming Signals

The following checks are planned and will be available soon:

  • AI Overuse Detection
Flags excessive or suspicious use of AI-generated content in resumes, while allowing normal AI-assisted formatting and editing.

  • Keyword Overuse Detection
Detects attempts to game screening systems by overloading resumes with keywords.

  • Public Profile Cross-Checks
Confirms whether linked profiles such as LinkedIn or GitHub exist and are consistent with the application.
