iCIMS 'Push' Integration

How to set up the HiPeople integration with iCIMS

Updated this week

Prerequisite: receiving credentials from iCIMS

In order to integrate with iCIMS, the following process must be followed:

1. You (the customer) have to sign an SOW (statement of work) for the integration project. The time from signing the SOW to kicking off the integration project is usually 6-8 weeks.

2. The integration project fee has to be paid. iCIMS doesn't disclose the usual amount they charge for such projects.

3. Finally, there needs to be an integration scoping call between you (the customer), iCIMS support, and the service provider. On this call, iCIMS will want to understand the use case and both your and the service provider's requirements.

To kick off the process, please reach out to your iCIMS Customer Support Manager.

After those steps are completed, iCIMS will provide you with the following necessary credentials that you need to enter next in the connection flow:

  • Customer ID

  • iCIMS Server region

  • API Client ID

  • API Client Secret

To kick off the process, please reach out to your iCIMS Customer Support Manager to set up the scoping call.

Once you have received the prerequisites from your iCIMS support contact, you can fill them into the connection flow. Navigate to HiPeople and Log In. Click on your user name on the bottom left, and then Settings. Locate the Integrations option on the list on the left.

On the Integrations page, locate and click iCIMS under the Send from ATS (Push Integration) category.

In the first screen, you will see what permissions HiPeople will have by enabling the integration. Click Continue.

Review the information (which you will have already completed with your iCIMS Customer Support Manager and click Continue.

Enter your Customer ID and select your iCIMS Server Region, then click Continue.

Enter your API Client ID and API Client Secret, and click on "Set up integration".

That's it, you're all set! Now you will be able to trigger automations with HiPeople directly from your ATS.
