To enable the integration and add your Personio credentials, navigate to HiPeople and Log In. Click on your logo on the top left, and then Settings. Locate the Integrations option on the list on the left. Here's the page's direct link: https://app.hipeople.io/settings/org/integrations

On the Integrations page, locate and click Personio under the Automate in HiPeople (Pull Integration) category.

In the first screen, you will see what permissions HiPeople will have by enabling the integration. Click Continue.

Enter your Personio domain. You can obtain that information by going to Settings -> Recruiting -> Career page, and copying the information in the Domain name field.

Examples: your-company.personio.de, your-company.app.personio.de, or your-company.app.personio.com.

Next, you will ensure the XML feed is enabled in Personio.

Go to the Career page settings in your Personio account. Then, make sure the "Enable XML feed" option under the "Activations" section is toggled on.

Once that's enabled, go to HiPeople's connection flow and click Continue.

Find your Recruiting API credentials. To do so, go to the Marketplace and then to the Connected integrations page. Scroll down and click on Recruiting integrations at the bottom.

Copy your company ID and the access token, and paste them into the HiPeople connection flow, then click Continue.

Let's create the custom integration. To do so, go back to the Connected integrations page, and click Create custom integration.

Add "HiPeople" as the name, and click Next.

In the following page, ensure you select the following scopes:

**Recruiting** - Read

Then click Create integration.

Copy "Your client ID" and "Your API secret", and paste them into the HiPeople's connection flow. Then, click Set up integration.

You are all set! Now your integration is enabled, and you can start using it by going back to HiPeople's homepage.

Now that your integration is live, you can either create jobs manually in HiPeople and link them to your existing Personio jobs, or turn on ATS Sync to have jobs created automatically in HiPeople whenever new ones are added in Personio. You can learn more about ATS Sync here.
