Prerequisites
Before getting started, please carefully read the following to make sure you fulfill all requirements for the integration to work:
To set up this integration, you must have the necessary permissions to access the "Security Console."
In addition, your account must have the following roles to complete the setup.
ORA_PER_RECRUITING_ADMINISTRATOR_JOB
ORA_ASM_APPLICATION_IMPLEMENTATION_ADMIN_ABSTRACT
To find out how to access the "Security Console," please follow the first steps under Permissions below.
If you don't have access, please contact whoever has the necessary permissions in your company before continuing.
Import Configuration Package
To start the integration process, you will navigate to the connection flow in HiPeople. Go to HiPeople and Log In. Click on your user name on the bottom left, and then Settings. Locate the Integrations option on the list on the left.

On the Integrations page, locate and click Oracle Recruiting Cloud under the Automate in HiPeople (Pull Integration) category.
In the first screen, you will see what permissions HiPeople will have by enabling the integration. Click Continue.
Add your Oracle Fusion/Recruiting Cloud Address by following the instructions, and click Continue.
Download the configuration package from the connection flow.
Go to Oracle Recruiting Cloud, and click on your profile picture on the top right of the page:
Click on "Setup and Maintenance" in the dropdown.
Open the "Tasks Panel" by clicking the highlighted button below.
Click on "Manage Configuration Packages" from the sliding menu.
Click on the "Upload" button under the "Search Results" section.
Click on the "Browse..." button and select the ZIP file you've downloaded from the connection flow.
You should be able to check the package details by clicking the "Get Details" button; click the "Submit" button on the top right of the page to upload the package.
You will be redirected back to the "Manage Configuration Packages" page. Click on the "Import Setup Data" button under the "Export and Import Processes" section of the package you've uploaded in the previous step.
Click on the "Submit" button on the top right of the "Import Setup Data: Enter Basic Information" page.
You will be redirected back to the "Manage Configuration Packages" page. The import process of the configuration package will start. Please wait until its "Status" has turned into "Completed successfully".
If you encounter any errors and are unable to import the package, you can follow this manual setup guide instead.
Assign a security profile to the custom role
In the right top menu, click on "Setup and Maintenance".
Click on the box on the right side.
Click on "Search".
Search for "Manage Data Role and Security Profiles" in the search bar, press enter, and select the entry as pictured.
Search for the role you imported with the configuration package (ATS_INTEGRATION_SERVICE)
Select the entry as it appears, and select "Edit"
Click "Yes" when prompted.
Simply click "Next" to go to step 2:
Select the following:
Organization Security Profile: select "View All Organizations"
Person Security Profile: select "View All Workers"
Position Security Profile: select "View All Job Positions"
Country Requisition Security Profile: select "View All Job Countries"
Payroll Security Profile: select "View All Job Payrolls"
Person Security Profile: select "View All Job Workers"
Job Requisition Security Profile: select "View All Job Requisitions"
Hit next until you reach the "Review" step.
Finally hit "Submit".
Create a new integration user
Click on the 3-bar menu in the top left of your Oracle Recruiting Cloud instance:
Next, scroll down to "Tools" open the menu, then go to "Security Console".
Note: If you don't see the "Security Console" setting, you don't have the right permissions to complete the connection.
Next, go to "Users" then "Add User Account".
Fill in the necessary information, saving the "User Name" and "Password" for later.
Next, click on "Add Role":
Note: Save the Username and Password, as you'll need them later.
Add the custom role of the configuration package (ATS_INTEGRATION_SERVICE) to the user, then press "Save and Close".
Enter the "Username" and "Password" in the connection flow in HiPeople, then press Set up integration.
