At HiPeople, assessments never stand still. We treat quality as an active, ongoing process that evolves with every candidate, every item, and every dataset we collect. Our continuous improvement program combines proprietary monitoring technology, structured expert review, and a controlled AI-stress-testing system that keeps our content fresh, secure, and high-performing.

Below is an overview of the safeguards that keep every HiPeople assessment sharp, fair, and resistant to gaming.

Item Tracking and Analysis

Every scored item and every live test is continuously tracked using our proprietary monitoring engine. The system flags unusual response patterns, sudden changes in difficulty, drops in reliability, or shifts in candidate behavior. This allows us to identify items that need refinement or replacement long before they become an issue.

Exposure Limits

To maintain integrity, items are not allowed to live forever. Each scored item is retired after roughly one thousand exposures, and replaced with new content for the next wave of candidates. This keeps assessments fresh and drastically reduces the risk of overexposure or item memorization.

GPT QAing (AI Cheating Checks)

One of our most important controls is GPT QAing.
For every assessment, humans simulate cheating attempts using cutting-edge language models, attempting to solve items under realistic time limits. The goal is simple: make sure a GPT system cannot outperform the bottom quartile of human scorers. If a model manages to do better than intended, the item is reworked or retired.

This approach gives us a practical and measurable standard for AI-resistant item quality, instead of relying on abstract assurances.

Regular Expert Reviews

Our People Science team and invited subject-matter specialists review item content on a rolling schedule. These reviews focus on clarity, relevance, fairness, and how well items match current job requirements. This ongoing input ensures our tests stay aligned with real hiring needs, not outdated assumptions.

Item Rotation

Whenever a recruiter creates a new assessment in HiPeople, the platform draws from a large and diverse item pool. This means candidates rarely see the same test and ensures content variation across roles and hiring cycles. Rotation also strengthens security by reducing exposure to any single item set.
